Steven Page, singer/guitarist of the band Barenaked Ladies was arrested Friday in upstate New York, and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Syracuse Police say Page was booked with “fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance”

Apparently last Friday morning at  2am, police stumbled upon a “suspicious car with its driver’s side door left open”   They traced the car back to a nearby apartment where they found the “Barenaked” Lady with two other actual ladies, and also some weed, and  a little cocaine, too.

Page is out on 10,000 bail and was arraigned yesterday July 16th.

If I had a million dollars I’d hire a great lawyer Steve!
